The 151st meeting of the Krakow Sonic Society opens, symbolically, the next stage of its activities. And it does so with a bang, as it starts with a listening to one of the most expensive audio file transports on the market, the TAIKO AUDIO Server XDMI with Olympus I/O XDMI module. We've tested this pair before, but this time the I/O XDMI features a DAC, and Taiko's creator and head, Mr. Emile Bok, is there to tell us about the equipment.

Capella Cracoviensis, or the “absolute sound” apella Cracoviensis is one of the most distinguished orchestras on the Krakow music scene. It was founded in 1970, three years before I was born, by Stanisław Gałoński who was its conductor and musical director until 2008. Although he was successful for many years, in the end he lost its identity and began a gradual descent into the hell of mediocrity. I perfectly remember the controversies, pickets, petitions and demonstrations of civil disobedience, when on November 1st, 2008, Jan Tomasz Adamus became the new director of this institution. Hello Wojciech, My name is John Zurek, I am a reviewer for Positive Feedback. I am a Polish-American (all four of my Grandparents came from Poland) who has never been to Poland. I will be in Europe on business in October, and after that is complete I hope to also visit Warsaw and Lodz. I know you live in Krakow, but I was wondering if you may know any Polish audiophiles in these cities that I may be able to meet while in the country. My time in Warsaw will just for fun and sight-seeing. Lodz will be different. When my father passed I recently discovered documents that lead me to believe I may have some relatives in Lodz.
