Before I realized, and another December arrived, and with it the time to announce the Awards of the Year of "High Fidelity OnLine". With some of the awarded products the more attentive visitors of this years show Audio Show could get acquainted in the rooms of the exhibitors - wanting to attract your attention to this and not other products, we assigned the awards earlier, so that the distributors could show them to the public. This was possible, because until now we tested almost all the products prepared for this year (except two, in this group the speakers Doberman of Harpia Acoustics). Because this year was extremely abundant in new devices, and we liked most of them, the competition was hard. I think, that we were able to pick the most valuable devices, best sounding, with best workmanship, and having the best price performance ratio. The awarded devices, speakers, accessories and recordings were split into categories, to make it easy for everybody to find the section he or she wants. We did not split the devices in price ranges, because we did not want to multiply the awards in an artificial way - but is something was good, above average, then regardless of the price it received a nomination, and after the sifting - the award. Most important are the Main Prizes. This year it happend such way, that the most interesting products created a superb, finished system - starting with a CD player, with a power amplifier, cabling (without speaker cables) and ending with power. This is of course one vision of the system, because based on the other Awards maybe even better combinations can be created - everything is in the hands of the Readers.
